Rachel DaCosta, Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
With over eight years of experience in the mental health field and more than three years of direct work with clients, I bring a grounded, compassionate, and collaborative approach to therapy. As a psychotherapist (qualifying), I specialize in working with young adult women and teens navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, body image concerns, relationship difficulties, school and work-related stress, and career planning.
My practice is rooted in a person-centred and holistic framework, where your unique experiences and needs guide the direction of our work together. I integrate evidence-informed approaches including mindfulness, emotion-focused therapy, and solution-focused therapy to support both personal insight and meaningful change.
I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel comfortable talking about the hard things—and supported in understanding and reaching your goals. While I am caring and empathetic, I also believe in gently challenging you to grow and show up for yourself in new and empowering ways.
Therapy with me is about connection, honesty, and building the tools you need to feel more confident and grounded in your life. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply unsure of your next steps, I’m here to help you navigate it—at your own pace and with care.
